So in mr rieffs class's we were reading this article called the reconstructing taoisms in China  how the Taoist texts can help deepen our understanding of early Chinese history is  we don't need to worry about our future and we just need to learn and live were life takes us. So what taoism means is a Chinese philosophy based on the writings of Lao-tzu the knowledge that I gained about Taoism helped me understand a lot of information from the early Chinese civilizations. a lot of Chinese historians just view the dynastic history they also want mention Taoism religious texts. All of the Taoist texts can show us how they lived their lives and they lived their lives as they want to live it. We can see lots of their morals and rules similar o the 10 commandments.
